• 30 to 40 percent tungsten metal and low in oxide content
• Can be used “as sprayed” for corrosion resistance (PREN of 80.98)
• When heat treated in a carburizing environment the coating will produce internal carbides through precipitation.
• At elevated temperatures the coating diffuses into the base material forming a metallurgical interface.
