“Precipitated Carbide” Thermal Sprayed Coating.

• A coating which contains 30 to 40 percent tungsten metal and low in oxide content.
  
• Can be used “as sprayed” for corrosion resistance. PREN of 80.98
  
• When heat treated in a carburizing environment the coating will produce internal carbides through precipitation.
  
• At elevated temperatures the coating will diffuse into the base material forming a metallurgical interface.
